KEPCO will invest 28.5 billion won for the next 5 years on‘customized support’ for traditional markets
The Korea Electric Power Corporation, or KEPCO will be providing customized support for 1,450 traditional markets across the nation.
KEPCO announced yesterday that a total amount of 28.5 billion won worth of investment will be made for the next 5 years, 5.7 billion won each year, to operate the supporting businesses for the traditional markets linked with KEPCO’s essential business.
The three categories of supporting businesses will be ‘Uplifting Energy Efficiency’, ‘Support Business for Environmental Improvement’ and ‘Support Business for Market Activation’.
KEPCO is also running a council together with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, or the MSS, called “the MSS, KEPCO and Merchant Association” for more practical support for traditional markets.
